The above is about Russ Heath, a comic artist whose work Roy Lichtenstein swiped for his own “art” without ever acknowledging. Lichtenstein made millions off copying the original work of others, and very little has ever been actually said about this on behalf of the comic artists whose material was the original source.
This particular panel comes from the comic HERO Comics 2012, which is produced by HERO Initiative, an organization that pushes for the creator rights of comic creators. It was written and drawn by Russ Heath himself.
Pass it along if you appreciate comic books, art, and credit being given where credit is due.

In preparation of the upcoming film (and ‘cos I’m all sorts of a geek). By Brian Bolland, btw, one of the all time great comic artists.
